Tinsukia Commerce College, the only full-fledged
Commerce College of Tinsukia District is just 34 years young. In order
to respond to the market demand it was established on 21st August 1972
for the commerce aspirants. Besides H.S. & B.Com. pass courses it
offers Major in Accountancy, Banking and Monetary Management and Human
Resource management. The college introduced certificate courses in
computer, Accounting & Taxation and Spoken English. The institute
also offers P.G. courses in Commerce, History, Economics, Assamese,
Political Science and Mathematics under D.D.E of Dibrugarh University
and proud to have introduced N.C.C. in the college.
It gives me immense pleasure to inform that the college is a
provincialised College of the Govt. of Assam and is permanently
affiliated to the University of Dibrugarh. It is also affiliated under
2(f) and 12(b) of the U.G.C Act, New Delhi and is accredited 'B' Grade
by NAAC, Bangalore. Its infrastructure is totally
managed by its internal sources besides a little fund received from UGC
sources. Presently the College is fully equipped with a football cum
cricket ground, volley & badminton grounds, pure drinking water
facility, canteen, first aid room, parking shed, generator facility,
well equipped library with reading room and internet connectivity.
Students are regularly evaluated by unit test besides tutorial, spot
and home assignment and remedial classes. They are aided with students
aid bank and students welfare facilities. We welcome
the commerce aspirants of Tinsukia Township in particular and those of
the country in general to come forward to uplift the college in the
top of laurels. Hopefully, we are one, but we can
not do everything but we can do something if we are positive. By the
grace of god what we can do we will surely do. Let us be proud of you
